Graduating from the University of Vic in Catalonia Spain, Mar earned a degree in Translation and Interpretation. Besides her native language, Spanish, Mar is also fluent in English, German and French. Post her graduation, Mar pursued a job for three years in an Exporting company after which she relocated to Shanghai China.
Her passion and love for dance began in her native and exotic country. Mar had the opportunity to obtain her formal Dance training in free style dances as well as Social partner dances which are listed below:
In 1995 Mar learnt at Sardanes which is a traditional Spanish dance in Catalonia, Spain
In 2003 Mar excelled in Funk and Hip Hop at Ball Centre - Barcelona, Spain.
In 2004 Mar educated herself in Salsa, Merengue, Bachata and Cha Cha with Ray Pradell, Manuel Mascarell and Adrian in Barcelona, Spain
In 2005 Mar learnt East C. & West C. Swing / Lindy Hop at Ball & Ball in Barcelona, Spain.
In 2005 Mar studied Tango Argentino at La Pantera Rosa - Barcelona, Spain

Mar has had the opportunity to perform in various dance styles such as Funk, Swing, Lindy Hop and Hip Hop at various exclusive night clubs, dance studios as well as public squares, in Barcelona – Spain and Shanghai China.
